What We Do
We partner with schools, districts, charter management organizations, and states to build teacher capacity in service of a more ambitious vision of student achievement: one that joins academic challenge and scholarship to critical skills like perseverance, critical thinking, and an ethic of contribution to prepare students for success in college, career and citizenship.
PD for Districts
We work with districts, states and charter management organizations focus on meeting the higher bar of Common Core standards and deepening student engagement.
Whole School Transformation
When we enter into a partnership with a school, we are embarking on a joint commitment: if a school is implementing the Expeditionary Learning model with fidelity, it will be outperforming its district peers on standardized measures of achievement within four years.
“The data conference has really begun to transform practices at PPSEL. One exciting aspect is that it hasn't just been coach/administrator driven. At the conference, my data team planned PD for the staff. The changes have been pretty dramatic. I see standards graphs on walls with data on how students are doing by standard. I have teachers creating spreadsheets similar to the ones shared at the conference. There have been systems put into place for sharing data and goal setting with students.”
