Two EL Schools designated Centers of Excellence from the Colorado Department of Education

AURORA | Five schools in the Aurora Public Schools District received Centers of Excellence Awards from the Colorado Department of Education earlier this month, an honor that carries a cash reward.

The CDE’s annual awards target Colorado schools with high rates of academic growth. At least 75 percent of the student population at eligible schools must be considered “at risk.” The schools from APS will be formally recognized during a ceremony later this year.
