Adventure Elementary and Tollgate Elementary School were among the 22 schools from all over Colorado that have received the Colorado Centers of Excellence Award for 2011. The award from the Colorado Department of Education recognizes impressive rates of student academic growth in schools with at least 75% at-risk pupils.
